Spring 2009 Meeting -- SAVE the DATE:   the Section is *tentatively* planning its Spring Meeting & CLE for March 27-28, 2009.  Location to be determined.  Details will be posted on the Events page as soon as possible.

ELAP Program:  the Amerian Bar Association has asked the Texas Supreme Court to support the military's Expanded Legal Assistance Program to allow Legal Assistance Officers to represent lower ranking servicemembers in Texas courts even if not otherwise admitted in Texas.  The Section has formed a committee, led by COL (Ret.)
